Your FoxyProxy accounts come with both proxy and VPN service.<\/p>\n

These instructions explain how to connect to your VPN accounts using a method called IPSec. This is not the preferred method to connect to your FoxyProxy servers. If not using the FoxyProxy VPN apps or browser extensions<\/a>, IKEv2<\/a> is the preferred means to connect to your VPN account.<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Open \u2018System Settings<\/strong>\u2019, then click \u2018Network<\/strong>\u2019. You can find \u2018System Settings\u2019 by clicking \u2018Spotlight Search\u2019 (magnifying glass in the upper-right of your computer) and typing \u2018System Settings\u2019<\/p>\n

Steps 2-3<\/strong>: click the down arrow<\/strong> – you may have to scroll down to see it. Select Add VPN Configuration<\/strong> and then Cisco IPSec…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 4: <\/strong>Enter Server Address (for example foobar.getfoxyproxy.org)<\/strong>, Account Name (username<\/strong> sent to you in email and displayed during checking), and Password<\/strong>. Then click the Create<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Step 7 of 7<\/strong>: Are you connected? Click the VPN icon in the system tray. Does it say Disconnect VPN<\/strong> or Connect VPN<\/strong>? If it says disconnect<\/strong>, then you are currently connected. If it says connect<\/strong>, then you are not currently connected.<\/p>\n

Step 8 — Extra Step<\/strong>: Check your location by visiting https:\/\/getfoxyproxy.org\/geoip<\/a>. You’ll see a page like this:<\/p>\n
